There are both major varieties of the coffee plant; Coffea arabica is the basic coffee, and reckoned quality in savour. Robusta, which has more caffeine, are cultured in fields where Arabica will not thrive, leading to its use as additional substitute for Arabica in many commercial coffee productions. Robusta ain't normally drank by itself, due to its bitter and acidic flavour. Better character Robustas are employed as ingredients in a bit of espresso blends.
