Just For Coffee Lovers

I mean, I understand the idea of it, but what is it exactly?
Coffee is a bean, and the bean is brewed to make coffee, am I right?
So why do we dissolve instant coffee? Surely it isnt just crushed up coffee bean, that cant be right.
Anyone have any insight?

Being an avid coffee drinker, I love to try new coffee beans. I’m not some fancy pants $1000 dollar coffee machine guy Just someone who enjoys a break from Folgers! So every once in a while, I’ll get a gift cirtificate for Starbucks….and I smartly grab a bag of beans….I’m partial to Sumatra.
